QUARRYING

The process begins with the extraction of granite blocks from quarries, where massive pieces of granite are carefully excavated using heavy machinery and drilling equipment. These blocks are typically cut vertically from the quarry face.

CUTTING

Once extracted, the granite blocks are transported to cutting facilities. Here, advanced diamond wire saws and cutting machines are used to slice the blocks into slabs of the desired thickness. Precision cutting ensures consistent quality and size.

POLISHING

After cutting, the granite slabs undergo a polishing process. Initially, rough grinding wheels are used to remove any uneven surfaces and imperfections. Subsequently, finer abrasive materials are employed to achieve a high-gloss finish, enhancing the stone’s natural beauty.

FINISHING

Depending on the intended application, granite can undergo various finishing techniques. These may include honing for a matte finish, flaming for a textured surface, or leathering for a tactile, soft look. The choice of finish depends on customer preferences and project requirements.

PACKAGING

Once the granite slabs or tiles are finished to specification, they are carefully inspected for quality and packaged for transportation to customers or distributors. Packaging materials protect the stone from damage during transit and ensure it reaches its destination in pristine condition.
